Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife particularly enjoy seeing their children's faces light up as they experience new things at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Dr. Adams also love to travel and learn about the diverse backgrounds and cultures of people around the world. His passion for medicine and travel were combined when he spent a few years studying medicine on the island of Grenada in the Caribbean, where he gained first-hand experience treating uncommon illnesses.
Dr. Adams and the rest of his staff are all big IU basketball fans, too. He tries to get to a few Hoosiers games each season.
A native of Anderson, Ind., Dr. Adams joined Lutheran Medical Group in August 2010 when his former group, Brooklyn Medical Associates, joined LMG. Dr. Adams joined BMA in 2007.
Dr. Adams completed his undergraduate studies at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., in 1999. He earned a medical degree from Saint George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, in 2004, and he completed a family medicine residency at Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in 2007.
Dr. Adams serves as medical director of Covington Commons, an assisted living facility, and the Englewood Skilled Nursing Facility. Both facilities are in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Dr. Adams is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
